PA state law requires any adult volunteer (coach, assistant coach, trainer, etc) who comes into contact with children to have child abuse and criminal background clearances. Don’t worry, they are relatively straightforward to obtain and free of charge and are good for 3 years.

EPYSA requires each coach, assistant coach, and team administrtor to complete a Risk Management file. Once you’ve completed the child abuse and background checks, please complete the EPYSA Risk Management application.
