Swarthmore Recreation Association was incorporated on March 12, 1940, as a non-profit organization with a mission to provide young residents of Swarthmore and the surrounding communities with summer recreational activities. SRA has evolved over the past 85 years and now provides adult and youth sports, activities, camps, and fun events for all ages year-round. SRA is the home for youth recreation sports, primarily serving the Wallingford-Swarthmore community although we do not have residency requirements for our programs. In order to ensure that everyone can participate in our programming, SRA provides financial aid to local families and children in need of assistance.
