Kick off the New Year with a 5K through the town of Swarthmore! It’s a race day for all ages and for families. Registration includes a long sleeve tech race shirt – guaranteed for pre-race registrants who register before December 15, 2025.
Check in on race day and same day registration will be held at the Swarthmore College Field House located on the college campus between 8:30-10:15 A.M. The 5K begins at 10:30AM. There will be pre-race day bib and shirt pick up at Bryn Mawr Running Company in Media, PA on Tuesday, December 30 from 3:30-5:30 pm.
CHILD WATCH: Do you and significant other both want to run? Onsite babysitting will be provided by SRA’s teen sports mentors for potty-trained youngsters aged 4-12 in the Swarthmore College Fieldhouse. This is only for children of registered runners and space is very limited. After you register for the race, sign up here and all children must be registered by December 28th.
KIDS/FAMILIES RACES: Free fun for the entire family will begin around 11:45AM on the College track for young runners aged 2-13 and their families. No registration necessary.
TEAM COMPETITION: Team competition in two categories: competitive and creative. Awards will be given to the faster overall team and to the most creative entry. Create a team at registration or after registration and the instructions on how to create a team located here.

WHERE: The race begins at the Field House on the Swarthmore College campus in Swarthmore, PA. Once again, the race will commence from the Swarthmore College campus, will run throughout the borough, and end on the Swarthmore College Track.

- December 1-December 20: $35
- December 21-28: $40
- December 29 – Race Day (no t-shirt guaranteed): $45
