Tournament Hoops for 2025-2026

Nether-Swarthmore Tournament Hoops offers an additional basketball option for dedicated Nether-Swarthmore Hoops recreation players. Tournament Hoops will be offered for boys and girls in grades 3-5, and for some middle school grades.

This year, tournament teams will hold evaluations and form teams in late October/ early November. Practices are expected to begin in mid-November and continue through mid-March. Teams will practice 1-2 nights per week for about 14-16 weeks, culminating in 3 spring tournaments. Practices for most teams will be held at the WSFS Bank Sportsplex, 2485 Seaport Drive in Chester, PA.

Teams are divided by grade level and you must be a registered Nether-Swarthmore Hoops recreational player to participate. Coaches have been identified for boys in grades 3-6 and girls in grades 3-5. See below for details. Registration fee for the season for invited players is $395.
