Elementary Hoops is the place to be for league play for kids in second- through fifth-grades! Elementary Hoops plays from late October until winter break at SRS, WES, and NPE. Second- and third-graders have one weekday practice and one weekend game each week. Fourth- and fifth-graders have one weekday practice and two weekend games each week (see below for details). Please make sure you register your child through the correct link below.
Elementary Hoops is run by parent coaches. We will open limited registration and then open up more teams/ spots as we have enough volunteers to run the program. Want to guarantee your child a spot and help make the program a success? Volunteer to coach when you sign up!
Note: Tournament Hoops begins right after winter break for fourth and fifth-graders. You must play Elementary Hoops to be eligible for Tournament Hoops. If we are able to find appropriate local tournaments for third-graders, we will also offer Tournament Hoops for third-graders, as interest allows.
SECOND- AND THIRD-GRADERS
Players in the 2/3 division play 4v4 format to increase the number of touches on the ball and to encourage good positioning on the court. Because this limits roster sizes, we will need many coaches. Please sign up to help. You can help even if you can’t make every practice or every game.

- Girls practice 5:00-6:00 OR 5:45-6:45 on either Monday or Tuesday
- Boys practice 5:00-6:00 OR 5:45-6:45 on either Tuesday or Wednesday
GAMES: The girls 2/3 play every Saturday with a start time between 1:00 and 4:00PM. The boys 2/3 play every Sunday with a start time between 3:00 and 6:00PM
UNIFORM: Players will receive a Hoops t-shirt that serves as their uniform for the season
COACHES: Hoops is coached by parents. Please sign up to help. We cannot open up additional registration until we have enough coaches. We will train you! We hope to have two coaches for every team as this makes it much easier on the individual coaches.
CODE OF CONDUCT: All players and coaches are required to sign and respect the SRA Code of Conduct.

GAMES: The 4/5 division plays one game each week, on Saturdays, from October 29-November 05 (see below for details on the player clinic). Starting November 12, the 4/5 division plays two games each week, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Both games are at SRS. Saturday games begin between 9:00AM and 12:00PM. Sunday games begin between 12:00PM and 4:00PM.
PLAYER CLINICS: On Sunday, October 30, and Sunday, November 06, each 4/5 team participates in a player clinic run by Chester High School varsity assistant coach Durell Moore and his coaches. Each one-hour clinic will begin between 12:00 and 4:00. (The price of the clinics is included in the registration fee.)

TOURNAMENT
The Elementary Hoops Tournament begins Monday, December 12 and continued through Sunday, December 17. Qualifiers and Quarterfinals are played on weekdays. Semis are played on Saturday, December 17, and Finals are played on Sunday, December 18.
Please note that the seeding is done at random. We do NOT track standings during the regular season, and every team makes the tournament. Every team plays at least one weekday game, one game on Saturday, and one game on Sunday. The full bracket is available HERE.
