Flag Football for girls has come to high schools in Pennsylvania! Come see what this growing sport is all about and learn to play in an environment “just for girls” in grades 3-8. This 4-week clinic will instruct the participants in fundamentals of football including proper stance, catching, and flag grabbing and include game playing.
PROGRAM DIRECTOR: Ryan Benson, a native of South Media, graduated from Strath Haven High School in 2003. Currently, he serves at Swarthmore Borough Public Works and is entering his 9th season as a football coach at Archbishop Carroll. Previously, Ryan coached at Holy Cross Middle School. During his tenure at Strath Haven, Ryan played football from 1999-2000, contributing to two state title runs. He has trained numerous youths in the Tri-State and Delco areas, making him a valuable asset to SRA’s flag football program.
WHO: Girls in grades 3-8
WHEN: Saturdays from 11:00-12:00 on September 13, 20, 27 and October 4.
