Travel Soccer Concussion Info and Training

Following the guidance of EPYSA, each travel soccer coach must submit their certificate of completion of the Heads Up Online Concussion Training Course offered by the CDC prior to the beginning of the next season. This should take roughly 30 minutes.

Any player showing signs of concussion will be removed from play or practice by the coach. That player will not be allowed to participate in practices or games until he or she has been cleared by a licensed health care professional trained in concussion evaluation and management.

The CDC offers extensive resources to understand concussions at the Heads Up website above.

Additional concussion resources can also be found on the EPYSA website and on the ConcussionWise website.
